"The Pleasure Is Mine” (“Cała przyjemność po mojej stronie”) is an exhibition about the journey of discovering femininity. From a young age, I have struggled to define my place in society. I was fascinated by the dynamics between the sexes, observing the roles of other women in my family and surroundings. In my work, I identify and utilize women's experiences, both present and past, drawing inspiration from mythology, history, and religion. I am interested in how the concept of women's role in society has evolved throughout history, from paganism to Christianity. My primary goal is to empower women, challenge traditional gender roles, and spark social discussion about the economic and social benefits of gender equality. Through my work, I want to openly discuss with viewers, making them question both traditional and modern aspects of gender roles.
